| Freelance Graphic Designers | Essential:
• Recognised qualification in graphic design or ability to demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge and skill gained through experience
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Illustrator and InDesign
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to collaborate with and report to project managers
• Proficient in MS Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Portfolio of relevant sample work
• Knowledge of EU visibility guidelines and previous work experience in EU publications is considered an asset
• Fluency in English is mandatory, fluency in French is considered an asset
• Previous work experience with printing houses and ability to coordinate and follow up for delivery of the final product is an asset
Job Description:
• Designing promotional material and visibility items and for projects and events using graphic design software (i.e. designing banners, presentation folders, notepads, agendas, name badges, table signs, etc.)
• Designing Leaflets and brochures using Adobe InDesign
• Preparing charts, graphs, and diagrams for reports
• Finding photos for publications and articles, taking into consideration copy right rules for using images in publications.
• Formatting word documents using styles in MS word
